My love affair with photography began 25 years ago with the purchasing of my first 35 mm camera. The picture which I saw through the lens contributed to a new perception of the surrounding world. The first night of independent work in the darkroom aroused great excitement. In the red light, I saw emerging pictures to be changed and modified. At that time, I was not aware that those first days with the camera and enlarger would influence the rest of my life. I graduated from university, but my fascination with photography and pictures was so strong that I have devoted all my time to the comprehensive study and creative work in photography. My participation in several dozens of individual and collective exhibitions in Poland and abroad has proven my decision to get involved in photography to be a good one. The object of photography is of the greatest interest to me, as well as the opportunity to create ambiance and climate in relation to the object, revealing its surface quality, showing various points of view. Manipulation of light, the main factor in the creation of photos allows me to show a new image of forms and colours, with the only objective for the photo being to help me find and produce for the viewer my stylistic approach to the topic. The photography which I practice includes contracted works, and a continuous compromise between myself, my client and the subject of the photo.
